NORMAGATE is a new force meter that gives measurements in Newtons. It ensures that all electrically operated closing systems, doors and windows comply with standards UNI EN 12453 (requirements) and UNI EN 12445 (test methods).
Test measurements should correspond or almost correspond to the graph illustrated below, which appears on the display of the personal computer. The red line on the graph represents the force impact trend within the period of time, as established by standards EN 12453-EN12445. (See Table below)
The values measured and detected by normagate should be those indicated in the graph or less, especially in the dynamic impact zone (Fd). The graph shows the force that, within the space of 6 sec (Tp), must have a maximum dynamic force (Fd or peak) of 400 or 1400 N (depending on the width of the opening) reachable in 0.75 seconds only, and a residue static force (Fr) of no more than 150 N for the remaining test time (5.25 sec.).

NOTE: the time values in the graph are not in linear scale so as to highlight the dynamic force of impact (Fd) within the brief space of 0.75 sec.
